I got a new CD / MP3 player for my car. I guess this means I have to actually fix the electronics in my car.  Posted by Picasa

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all. Yesterday seemed to be a bit busy, with all the running around and seeing the people you are supposed to on Christmas. We started off the day opening presents, then for lunch we visited Grandpa in hospital. He broke his leg when I was in Germany, and is expected to make a recovery and be home in a few weeks. I think he quite enjoyed having his kids and grandchildren visit him rather unexpectedly. We ate finger foods and got to chat about my trip. When Grandpa had enough, we left him to rest. All the relatives piled into cars and went home briefly to gather more food! This load of food was for Christmas dinner, being held at my Uncle Steve's house this year. It was such an ordeal to get all the food organized and to get there on time that it didnt seem like much fun. Once we got there it was good - lots of food and lots to catch up on. After the late night, Mum and Peter had to pack for their trip to the USA. (they are visiting family there) Today I awoke early and helped Mum with her last bits of packing. We drove them to the airport and bid them farewell. Now that I'm back home, it's time to pack for Queensland. In theory, Dad, Philip and I are leaving tomorrow morning for a drive up to Queensland to see my Auntie Lorraine and Uncle Ross. I hope we can get organized in time! As I type, Dad is sleeping on the couch, so thats not a good sign.
